Sinh To Bo – Vietnamese Avacado Smoothie

Saigon evenings are hot and sticky. Away from the air conditioning and fans of small restaurants the street is often the only place to cool down. Food and drink is available everywhere but sometimes a hot pho or banh mi is simply too much. So what to do? On many street corners women with antiquated blenders whiz fruit smoothies that are the perfect antidote to the humidity. Mango, dragon fruit and papaya are all superb but if you want a taste and texture experience that is unmatched go for a rich cup of Sinh to Bo, a velvety sweet smoothie made with fresh avocado.

Scoop the avocado into a blender. Add the ice, condensed milk and milk and whiz until completely smooth.Suck up through a straw and get ready to swoon.
