Photos from The Treehouse Diaries

Wether you took your inspiration from the Lost Boys village in Peter Pan, the fury tree-dwelling-dwarf-warriors, the Ewocks in Star Wars or the hiding place of Kevin Costner in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, tree-houses have always been a thing of childish fantasy. After all what could be more fun than having your own hide-out high in the canopy where the slingshot ruled and you were the king of everything you surveyed.

Well for the first half of this week I had the opportunity to relive childish dreams and stay in a treehouse. Cycling south of London I had the honour to stay with Professional forager and survial expert Nick Weston who is living in a forest somewhere in Sussex in his own treehouse. Hoping to try out some tasty forrest treats I popped down to eat wild and help put up the roof.  For photos from my visit enjoy the slideshow below.
