The Flobots. No Handlebars

For many a year now I have been claiming that cycling is the new Rock and Roll and judging by the acclaimed Flobots latest hit, my finger is still firmly on the thumping pulse of popular opinion. The Flobots, an alternative rock hip hop group from Denver, Colorado, have just released their single  "Handlebars" in the UK.

The Flobots Handle bars video.

"I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handlebars
No handlebars
I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handlebars
No handlebars
Look at me, look at me
hands in the air like it's good to be

With a growing beat and stunning use of a horns and strings mixed with intelligent lyrics this track will be huge. How refreshing to see an American rapper talking about something other than sex, drugs, women and gangs. Obviously the Flobots are a very smart group and the story telling in the animation rocks. We all start off the same in life but choose our own path amongst deep rooted social inequality.

Thats what I see anyway?
