My Year Of Eating – 221 Day In

As the world takes a break to watch the Olympics and the population of France head south for the beach, it seemed a good time for an update this years vanity project.

I have taken one photo of one food item I have eaten every day this year. From reindeer steaks in Lapland to Aligote in The Auvergne  and with plenty of cheese in between it has been a good year of eating and a good project.

For those of you who like to quantifie things its been 221 days thus far and the needle on the bathroom scales has remained stubbornly in the same position it was in in January – is this a good or bad thing?

If you have nay interest at all in what a 34 year old, slightly over-weight, parttime cycling tour guide and Hungry Cyclist lives on have a click on any of the thumbnails below. Bon Apetite!
