A Trip To Paris For Garden Inspiration

Spring has come late in Europe this year. The temperatures have remained unseasonaby low and the rain has not stopped. But as the mercury has risen in May, so have the weeds in The Hungry Cyclist Garden. In an attempt to combat the weeds with some planting of my own, I decided to hop on a train to the french capital for inspiration. It is perhaps strange to think that I would head for one of the biggest cities in Europe for gardening ideas but the trip was hugely rewarding.

After a visit to Le Jardin du Plant and Ilse St Germain, I left the city full  of ideas and new plants to implement in the various corners of my garden in Burgundy. To get an idea of the direction I am thinking of going with the gardens have a look at these images and do click on the thumbnails to enlarge.
