Life Moves Pretty Fast – Tribute to John Hughes

I was sad last week to hear of the death of movie writer and director John Hughes. Hughes died of a heart attack on a morning walk at the age of 59. As a child of the eighties I grew up on and loved the films he directed and wrote such as The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles. He also wrote the whole Home Alone series, but in my humble opinion his greatest achiement was the mighty Ferris Bueller's Day Off in which the lead role tells us on his way to the shower that…

'Life moves pretty fast.

If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it'

Best advice I had as a child… Twist and Shout!
