The Food of The Mekong River

South East Asia is a food-lovers paradise and as I pedaled alongside the Mekong through the landscapes of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and China, from the seat of my bicycle, I was able explore the origins, influences and defining characteristics of the food that fueled my journey. Visiting traditional family-run restaurants, street stalls, floating markets, night markets, fishing villages and plenty other feeding holes, I was able to learn more about the real food of the South East Asia and its preparation.
