Flowers of the Negev Desert
Ok its not about cycling and not about food but while cycling in Israel's Negev Desert, after some heavy rain I was lucky enough to be taken out into the desert and stumble across these crocus that spring up after the rain in this harsh environment. The simple fact of their existence seemed to symbolize those who flourish in adversity.
If anyone out there has a recipe using crocus I would love to hear from you.
