A is for Afghanistan: London’s World of Food Video

London is an international city; one of the world’s vital hubs. So is it possible to travel round the world without even crossing the M25? There’s only one way to find out.

This year I am teaming up with adventurer and good friend Alastair Humphries to eat in one restaurant from a nation representing each letter of the alphabet. An A to Z of World Food in London.

We both love to travel, but can't be on the road all the time, so in the next 365 days we will eat in 26 restaurants and prove that you don't have to get on an airplane to experience a sense of adventure and discovering something new. Producing short videos, collecting recipes, recording podcast and reviewing at each stop, this project is going to be a gastronomic marathon to test the hardest of food explorers, but we hope by the end we will not only prove what a culturally diverse capital we live in but also how rewarding a food adventure can be in London.

We began with A for Afghanistan, and here is a delicious little video from Seven, an Afghan restaurant hidden away in Sheen South West London.
