World record breaker Mark Beaumont is back on the road. A year since he smashed the round the world cycling record in 194 days he has written a book and planned his next project to cycle the Americas. But as if this wasn't hard enough he is also climbing a couple of mountains along the way.
In May 2005 I embarked on a ride through the Americas and I know first hand that Mark is in for a treat. I only hope when he's not racing south and scampering up mountains he get a chance to eat some of the superb food that awaits the cyclist in the Americas.
