A Night Of Adventure

There is no rest for the wicked…

Within a few days of landing in the UK I'll be joining an esteemed team of fellow adventurers to present 20 slides about some of my travels and eating on the mighty Mekong.

The ‘Night of Adventure’ is taking place at Vue Cinema in Leicester Square, London on Monday 17 May. Myself and fourteen other superb speakers from across the spectrum of expeditions, adventure and travel will talk about our exploits.

Skateboarding across Australia, paddling the length of the Amazon, micro lighting from London to Sydney and spending six months living in a tree house are just a few of the topics that will be covered.

Each talk will consist of only 20 slides that will automatically scroll on after just 20 seconds. It is an unusual, challenging presentation format. Once the talk begins there is no stopping or going back: it is fast and furious and the audience must be ready to be swept from adventure to adventure!

The first talk starts at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Tickets are
£20 per person and are only available in advance. To book tickets
please call 01722 790111 or for more information email David.James@hopeandhomes.org (all proceeds go to Hope and Homes for Children).

  1. The skating area in Harmony Park, Coburg has a plaza style, which means you can skate on the bins, seats, and kerbs. A partially buried concrete skate bowl is the main attraction on the skate area.
